The problem

Contracts leak, quietly.

Work gets performed past the contract value while nobody watches the burn. The change order is raised too late, or never, and that gap is pure margin, gone before anyone sees it. Roughly nine percent of annual revenue is lost after the contract is signed.

One line, either direction

Whether you bill against contracts or pay against them.

The engine is the same, a ceiling, the value drawn against it, and a waterline that warns you before you cross. Only the words change to match your world.

Money coming in

You bill against contracts

Your total contract value is the ceiling. Invoices and change orders draw it down. FullBoat shows consumed, remaining, and receivables, and alerts before a project burns past what you sold.

Customer · Contract · Invoice · Change order
Money going out

You pay against engagements

Approved fees are the ceiling. Provider invoices draw them down, grouped by deal across every provider. FullBoat shows committed, spent, and payable, and alerts before an advisor runs past their estimate.

Why FullBoat

Not a spreadsheet. Not just an accounting tool.

Spreadsheets

Manual, stale, and siloed. Someone has to remember to update them, and finance never quite trusts the total.

Accounting systems

Track cash after the fact. Blind to the contract you are burning and the overrun building inside it.

Enterprise suites

Real capability, priced for the enterprise. Seat minimums, tens of thousands a year, and months of setup.

FullBoat

The whole contract, live: consumption, alerts, receivables or payables, and cash, in one place. Set up in an afternoon.

Trust

Defensible to finance and compliance.

Read the security page

Workspace isolation

Enforced on every query and verified by an automated test suite. No tenant can see another.

Encryption

All traffic encrypted in transit. Data encrypted at rest.

Detailed audit log

Every financial and access event recorded, filterable, exportable, and impossible to edit.

Access control

Role based permissions, so each person sees and changes only what they should.

Where this came from

It started as a Google Form.

Not software. A Google Form. I was running the services and application teams, and I needed to see the truth about the work we were delivering. Nothing we could buy would show it to me, so I built it myself.

Contract buckets went into a form, the answers landed in a Google Sheet, and a layer of queries pulled it into a live picture of where every contract stood against its ceiling.

It was a labor of love, and it changed the trajectory of my life. That tool held up in the one moment where the numbers had to be true, and it helped carry the company through a $240M sale.

That is why I build my own things now. Getting real control back over how I spend my time is the thing I rank above almost everything else, and FullBoat is that instinct turned into a product. I would not put it in front of you if I had not run real work on it myself first.
